...the story so far

2025
Percy began working part-time as an Assistant in Production and Wholesale at Pippa Small Jewellery in London, a role that's broadened his understanding of running a jewellery business and collaborating with artisans worldwide. During this time, he also celebrated his first major achievement by winning a Bronze award at the Goldsmiths' Craft & Design Council Awards for his Festival Elephant ring, a piece from the Pink Paradise collection. Eager to expand his sourcing knowledge further, Percy travelled to Tanzania, exploring the foot of Kilimanjaro in search of Tanzanite's and Tsavorites, deepening his connection to the materials that inspire his designs.
2024
Further travels to Thailand deepened Percy's exploration of stone sourcing and expanded his network within the industry. He also began showcasing his jewellery at renowned venues like The Forge on Leather Lane and the Chelsea Arts Club, giving an early preview of his next collection, Pink Paradise, inspired by his travels to Jaipur. Alongside this, he started to collaborate with charities such as The Amelie & Daniel Linsey Foundation, donating pieces to support meaningful causes. These experiences continue to shape his journey as a designer, blending my passion for travel, craftsmanship, and social responsibility.
2023
Percy launched his first collection, Atlantis, inspired by his love for the sea and his interaction through his life, expressed through wearable objects of art. As he expanded his understanding of the industry, he met influential designers such as Theo Fennell, who advised him on his next steps as a young designer, along with Stephen Webster, Solange Azagury-Partridge, Ming, and Marie Helene de Taillac. These inspiring figures, each with their unique perspectives, encouraged Percy to explore new avenues, from taking short courses to traveling to jewellery capitals around the world. This lead Percy to travel to Jaipur and Bangkok for 2 months, brooding his understanding of stones, craft techniques and the industry. With the guidance of his mentors and his growing experience, Percy was able to lay the groundwork for his next collection inspired by his trip, driven by newfound knowledge and creative inspiration.
2022
Outside of his studies, Percy established his own jewellery design business, setting up a bench in his flat where he has designed and crafted over 50 pieces, including numerous bespoke commissions. As a designer, he feels a strong responsibility to be sustainable and strives to balance aesthetics, ergonomics, and storytelling in his work. The intricate nature of jewellery design has deepened his appreciation for detail, which is evident in his creations. Having now graduated, Percy is eager to pursue his passion for jewellery, bringing a unique perspective from his background in furniture and product design—focusing not only on beauty but also on functionality and purpose.
2021
Before specialising in jewellery, Percy sought to expand his design knowledge by studying a BA in Product & Furniture Design at Kingston University, where he discovered that his passion for creating jewellery was what he wanted to do. The COVID lockdowns gave him the time to practice and develop his technical skills through self-teaching, complementing my studies and pushing my creative boundaries. After the lockdowns, friends and family began commissioning him for personalised pieces, from portraits of their dogs to intricate white gold dragon rings, which deepened his love for collaborative design. This experience motivated him to refine his craftsmanship and develop his own pieces in a distinctive style, leading to the launch of Percy Graham Jewellery.
2020
During an Art Foundation at City & Guilds Arts School, Percy took the initiative to practice and develop his jewellery skills alongside his course, creating his first original pieces. This period was crucial in helping him understand materials and techniques such as casting, setting, and soldering through experimentation and hands-on learning. Exploring local suppliers in Hatten Garden, he gained insight into sourcing quality materials and refining his craft. This journey allowed him to express my personal style, blending cultural influences into my jewellery designs and laying the foundation for his creative vision.
2019
Percy began his formal journey into design, exploring materials, form and craftsmanship through his studies. During this period he developed a deep appreciation for detail, storytelling, and the relationship between object and wearer — foundations that would later shape his approach to jewellery.
