Festive Elephant Ring is inspired by Percy's joyous experience of the Hindu festival of Hariyali Teej, also known as Green Teej. Celebrated during the monsoon season, this
festival honours Goddess Parvati, worshipped for conjugal bliss and the well-being of one’s husband and family.
The elephant, sacred in Hindu tradition, embodies wisdom, strength, and the power to remove obstacles, and serves as the heart of this design. The ring’s creation was sparked by an unforgettable moment outside the old Jaipur Palace, surrounded by face-painted elephants, their majestic presence and colourful adornments radiating both spirit and grace. The elephant’s tusks are crafted from Percy’s own wisdom tooth.
This piece has also won a 3D Design Award at the 2025 Craft & Design Council Competition.
